ABOUT US
The RSM Intermediate Parent-Teacher-Student Organization (PTSO) is an all-volunteer organization that partners with teachers, parents, and their students to help foster an exceptional educational experience at RSM Intermediate. Our goals are to have a balanced approach to providing activities and support to Parents, Teachers, and Students and to strengthen the sense of community within RSM Intermediate.
The PTSO raises money through our membership drive and special events to sponsor various programs and keep our school's technology current. We also support school dances, student recognition, staff appreciation and 8th grade promotion activities. In addition, the PTSO is able to help individual departments with special request items through our teacher mini grant program. In addition, we partner with RSM staff to provide important Parent Education Nights. Throughout the year we offer Family Fun Nights to build a sense of community within the school.

A Message From Our PTSO President
The Rancho Santa Margarita Intermediate School would like to welcome you and your student(s) to the 2023-2024 school year! We continue our dedication and support to enhance the middle school experience for all students, teachers, staff, and families. We hope that you will join us in supporting our Roadrunners. Your support of the RSM PTSO funds various programs that benefit ALL students. The RSM PTSO is extremely proud of our work with our Administrators, Teachers & Staff as we strive to support our students.
Here is a snapshot of what we plan to provide this year:

● Counseling office supplies and resources
● Classroom grants
● Family engagement events
● 8th grade festivities
● Staff appreciation
As fellow parents and guardians, we enjoy being able to provide these things for our students and teachers, however we can only do it with your help. As we begin the new school year, we would like to invite you to support our school by becoming members of PTSO. There is no obligation to attend PTSO meetings or to volunteer.
We will meet once a month and our meetings allow you to learn how we operate, where the donations are spent and to gather the important opinions of all RSM families.
